H2O – Episode 7

Feb 29 2008 Published by Mina under H2O ~footprints in the sand~

I’m really suprised but also pleased there’s more to the show than only the Hayami-arc, though Hotaru/Hinata’s story is finished a little bit too fast. They could have done much more episodes for this rather important development. What I’m not sure about is the end, is this now reality and everybody accepted Hinata is Hotaru or was it only her dream?

Short Summary:
Asami gets chased at school by Kasuo, Kirikiri and C. Finally they and up in Asami’s video camera where the chase continues. There the new host finds out her friend Rina is a mushitsuki, too. When Kakkou gets to know Asami’s now a host he rushes off to school and with the help of C also enters the tape. There he fights the others and tries to help Asami, but she thinks he wants to kill her and when she’s able to leave the camera, she immediatley deletes the video, so she thinks Kasuo, Kirikiri and Kakkou are destroyed. But C can help to get them out of the computer, only Kakkou has to stay and the next day Kasuo returns to school. While Asami’s in the classroom she destroyes the camera. Asami’s eyes fade out, she’s now a Fallen and Kakkou seems lost.

My opinion:
I can’t put into words how much I hate the ending of this episode!

Mushiuta – Episode 7

Feb 29 2008 Published by Mina under Mushiuta

Short Summary:
The blond haired girl from last time is called Kasuo-san, she came along with two other hunters from headquarters to capture Fuyuhotaru. Also it seems Kasuo wants to beat Kakkou more than anything else, because Haji promised her to save her if she becomes the strongest of all.
Asami is still browsing through her videos and identifies Shiika to be ahost as well, so she visits her to talk and reveal she’s now a owner of a mushi herself. Asami gets scared she might be caught and runs off to delete her homepage, but before Shiika has to promise she won’t tell Rina about her friend’s mushi.
So Rina goes on living her life without knowing one of her best friends is in danger. Instead she enjoys having a crush on Daisuke-kun who tells her to him she Rina resembles his sister, he hasn’t seen for quite a while.
We get to know Haji’s got a hospitalized sister who owns a mushi. Somehow the bug’s eating his dreams instead of hers, so Haji gets his dreams recorded on tape, so he won’t forget them and can live on.
In the end he gives Kasuo the order to find Asami, Rina gets informed by Minmin Asami’s in danger, so she runs to school to help her. The same second Asami’s in one of her videos and stares at a picture of the Mushibane leader – Ladybug aka Rina.

My opinion:
Mushiuta might be my favourite show of the last year. Since my last entry about it in octobre, I watched some episodes ahead, got a backlog and never came to the end, because I didn’t want to blog about six episodes at once. So I decided to rewatch all episodes I’ve already seen after the sixth and finally finish it.
Though it’s been such a long time I was back in the story immediatly, and still what touches me the most is the music and my love for Rina. I can’t see a happy ending for her with Daisuke and the Mushibane and that makes me so sad!!!

True Tears – Episode 3

Feb 18 2008 Published by Mina under True Tears

True Tears is such a quiet and beautiful show. We get to know about Hiromi’s past with Shinichir? and I wonder why she tries to seal all that away. Perhaps she thinks it’s not okay to be in love with him while living under the same roof? And that’s what she is – in love with him – or why that expression at the end?

Shigofumi – Episode 2

Feb 18 2008 Published by Mina under Winter 07/08

I swear, had I known the characters for more episodes I would have cried like a little baby.
As the name of the show Shigofumi ~stories of the last letter~ hints there are several stories, which makes the series an episodic one. After only two episodes we are through with Shouta and Ayase’s story and it’s been incredible. While I was so damn angry after episode one why Shouta had to get killed by the girl he likes, I forgot there are always two sides of one coin and several truths. This time I felt so sorry for her, sexual abuse is the worst and just not picked out as a central theme often enough.

Rosario + Vampire – Episode 6

Feb 18 2008 Published by Mina under Rosario + Vampire

With 13 episodes it’s now more or less half time for Rosario + Vampire. I can’tt ell you how much I enjoy this show, it’s very stereotypicall and so but pure fun. Still I recognize so far we are following a strict another guy wants Moka/another girl wants Tsukune-scheme and I’m not sure where this show plans to end. I’ve senn many series that stayed the same till the end, but I heard the Rosario + Vampire Manga gets more serious so I hope the story in the animated version also deepens. For the first time I watchful watched the ending, where we can see Moka naked with Tsukune, tsukune half dead because the vampire sucks his blood, all girls fighting like they have to save the world, a frightening class teacher and Moka in chains. Is this all just symbolic and meant to be cool or are these hints what’s to come?

Persona ~trinity soul~ – Episode 3

Feb 16 2008 Published by Mina under Persona ~trinity soul~

My opinion:
This show is simply awesome!!! I feel involved with the story so much, still it’s like we just scratched the surface. The are fights in every episode, but it’s not like tehre has to ba an obligatory fight every time, but it’s more like they are fighting an decisive battle from the very beginning.
I didn’t really get it so far how personas can be absorbed into each other and its connection to the reverse cases…?!

H2O – Episode 6

Feb 16 2008 Published by Mina under H2O ~footprints in the sand~

As the episode title hints this time the story evolves around Yui. I wouldn’t have expected her story is that much linked with Hayami’s. That’s also the reason we not only get to know Yui better but the truth behind Hayami’s past. Yui stays an unbearable character after all, but she showed some heart and I felt the scene at the burned house when she was screaming and crying rather intensive and touching.
Actually I can’t find any information about the number of episodes we can expect, but I think it’s going to be about 12 or 13, which means we are halfway through and as mentioned hayami’s story is revealed. So waht’s going to come now? Otoha hinted Hirose’s time is almost up, what else can he do for Hayami now she regained Hinata as a friend and at least a bit of Yui’s respect?
