Mahoraba – Episode 11

Apr 24 2005 Published by Mina under Mahoraba - Heartful Days

This was definitley the cutest episode so far. I like it when characters that are annoying in some way show they have another side.
But I wonder if Momono’s boyfriend wants her back when he comes to Japan…she’s got an alcohol problem, you know?

To be honest the story of the show is so predictable. Still it’s very much fun to watch. All characters are pretty cool and the animation good enough it’s enjoyable.
It’s nice to see Reika is also blogging “Eyeshield21″, especially because she knows the mangas and is Hiruma fan, while I still think he’s the devil in human form *lol*

Jinki:Extend – Episode 12 [Fin]

Apr 24 2005 Published by Mina under Jinki:Extend

Sorry to say this, but this show was a complete failure after episode 1.
The story was messy, stupid…BAKA! It was so hard to follow most of the time, the characters were one-dimensional and not introduced properly, many useless and unimportant. Aoka as second protagonist was as likeable as a brick and aoba, the only really cool character vanished for some episodes.
It was all to Evangelion-esque, but copied very bad. The ending was just as stupid as the rest.
This is really a”don’t watch it”-show. The animation and soundtrack were good from time to time, but that’s it. Rixot remebered me there were that strange animal-mask pendant to SEELE guys onece…well, once. Who were they? Important?
Why was Aoba’s mother alive and is now the loving person we all expect her to be?
Arg, baka….BAKA! Thank God it’s over!

Ichigo 100% – Episode 3

I don’t know why, but that episode was boring all over. Why are there so many girls falling for Junpei, he’s a loser…it’s sooo unrealistic Yui would wake up in his bed. And I don’t know why many bloggers seem to be so fond of Yui…Aya looks much better, is cuter…has got the much better seiyuu *hihi*
Hope the quality of the show will rise again next time!

Izumo – Episode 2

Apr 19 2005 Published by Mina under Izumo: Takeki Tsurugi no Senki

No one seems to be blogging this show and I did not write much down last time either…so:
The opening song is okay, the ending horrible! It must be sung by the seiyuus themselves…or perhaps just by people they picked randomly at the street; I don’t know and…exactly I don’t wanna know! All in all the soundtrack is interesting, to be honest so terrible and unfitting…I like it!
Animation in the first episode was good and this time I thought it was…but watching all shows on the TV screen is tricky. When I did the screenshots I recognized actually how deformed the characters look most of the time and the backgrounds were disappointing…too neon green.
The story is a mixture of El Hazard (the bugs), Magic Knight Rayearth (called by the pretty hime), Fushigi Yuugi (two heros who are destined to fight on two sides against each other), Lord of the Rings (there were chinese looking Ringwraiths, hontou) and Star Wars (those nazgul had Light Sabers in the end).
The only idea new to me what I like a lot is the reincarnation of dead souls in the other world.
This show is nothing that would hook me if I knew I had to watch 13 wpisodes in a row, but still I’m interested and as it’s only one episode a week, i will keep watching…I’m just in the mood to blogg each and every single (almost) show of this season.

Well, I don’t wanna say more about it then it’s amusing, entertaining and a pleasure to watch this high quality animation. And I can’t get that opening melody out of my head all day long *humming*

I really don’t understand why everybody is bitchin’ around. I like Sousei no Aquarion…I like it!
Well, perhaps I was a bit too impressed by the artwork last time so I didn’t recognize the funny aspects of the show… *cough*
Like that guy who can spit out fire from his feet, or the orgasmus union, or that women playing on her wings like it’s a harp, or the incest relationship of pseudo Touga and Nanami or…

Weeee, what an amazing enjoyable show…”Sliders” by CLAMP as anime adaption. With the sound of Kajiura…she’s a genious!
This time there were some mere variations to the story of the manga, but nothing to be mad about. Yuko is even more a bitch in animated form and Kurogane more amusing. I’m totally pleased with all about it.
Espeacially the ending song “loop”…adorable!

Mai-Hime – Episode 8

WHAT? WHY? Why do they start to kill people so early? *crying*
First I was so happy with this episode, I’m always annoyed and sad the characters with a secret have to live with this burden alone and can never tell their friends…here a whole bunch of people get to know of the HiMEs. That’s good…but the ending just shocked me!
