Somehow I’m lost in thoughts about Uta~Kata. At least I have to rewatch the last episode. Everything happend a bit fast, Saya-san’s explanation about everything, why and what she tested and what she is herself. I found many christian motives in the show. As Saya said, there are seven Djinn’s that reveal your true self. Seven sins or the opposite. Concerning that it’s true that the sentiment of the show changed after epsiode five…so, five Djinns for fun, seven Djinns for testing.
In the end we see Ichika gets crucified and has to decide, sacrifice the world or herself for the world…the lamb of God. You know what I mean. Like Jesus came to world to live among people and see how good or bad (Judas) they are and in the end he decided to sacrifice himself. So does Ichika…
I’m pretty sure Saya-san’s talking to God in the end, but he laughs because the test “failed” (in Saya-san’s eyes). That’s why I said I see it more as a test for her. She has to learn about humans, that the not always act like she expects, even her own “creations” in form of Kai and Manatsu act against her will and sacrifice themselves for the sake of love. God was laughing about the all, tha only thing that makes me wonder is why Saya-san was ordered to test the next child. Perhaps it’s amusing for God…or Saya-san has to learn ^^
Some other animeblog writers that watched Uta~Kata were wondering why Sei gave the pendant to Ichika. As we get to know in the graveyard-episode Ichika’ test was appointed before she was even born, so I think it was just fate. Sei had to give the pendant to Ichika. Maybe he hoped it would not happen again to Ichika, or that her test would turn out better. To think of it, it must be fate…why did he have the pendant at last? Ichika lost it in the final episode, so it must have been given to Sei so he could give it to Ichika…

So we come to an end for this unbelievable beautiful show. The ending is not perfect, but not as dissapointing as those of many other series.
In my believe in God Uta+Kata has got an good ending I think and somehow I understand what the point of it was. I really see it more as a test for Saya, than for the children and Ichika learnd about the only truth that exists in everyones life:
We have to work hard on ourselfs to change. There’s no help in changing others!
Uta~Kata gets a place in my most belove anime series and I’m sad it’s already over. Looking forward to an OVA and perhaps, If I watch carefully I can see Manatsu standing somewhere ^^

This time I’ve cried, it was just too wonderful. Two episodes to go and it feels like it’s going to end good, but perhaps I’m predicting too early. No red eyes this time and I like Manatsu more and more while Kai lost some points.

Could I enjoy anything more then Uta~Kata. I love it, i simply love it. Against my prediction again a Ichika and friends episode and it’s getting more serious than I ever expected of the show.
Why is Ichika vomiting? There won’t be a little alien baby coming out of her stomach in the final episode!?

Ichika’s costumes was beautiful, so was the whole episode. I was totally catched again, after a bit dissapointing episode 7. I like Keiko and Ichika’s other friends, they brighten up the show. Hope to see more from them again but I don’t think that’s realistic. Show focuses on Ichika distrusting herself and…her red eyes.

Honestly I expected that to happen, and I can imagine who or what Kai-san is. hope the show is not getting to predictable, as I enjoy it very, very much so far.

That was a very depressing episode. I wonder what’s happening to Ichika. Can somebod tell me why this show is meant to be magical girl? It’s not at all. I’m glad the series not focuses on her transforamtions and that, you can just watch and enjoy the bittersweet feeling.

Ichika very much reminds me of myself. When we went on a school trip all the girls from my room wanted to go upstairs to the boys in the middle of the night. I was to serious and afraid…so all of them got punishment. I did not ^^
I like it when Nanatsu looks hurt and wears her hair open…I like her more, well, serious!
