Do I have to mention it? Wendy is the Chibiusa-character type! Arg! I will stick to Van ^_~ Although I’m not sure it defines a person’s character when the only thing we know about him is he likes spices and sauces. Hopefully the writers are going to be more creative in future episodes!

Welcome to my new quickie entries. I now I don’T write to much on animes in general, but as it often goes on my nerves to stop after watching every episode, taking, resizing, uploading screenshots this is anew section for shows I like to watch in a row.
One screenshot is done quickly and perhaps I will not blogg about every singe episode…we’ll see. Let’s come to the show!
Gun X Sword seems to be a wild mixture between Cowboy Bebop, Trigun and Saber Rider (does anyone rember that? I LOVED that show when I was little!!!) And Van is exactly my type of man, you can guess…hehe!

Wishes can come true…at least when you are school girl that’s also a god. What sound’s like action or magical girl is slow pace cute and – since I’ve seen Kamichu I understand the meaning of the word – moe.
The characters move clumsy, behave childlike, the heroine looks – like many other bloggers wrote before – like Chihiro from Gibhli. I as a German girl also have to think of Laura’s Stern.
Kamichu is special and I’ll be sure to follow it for a while, at least!

KSMK is rather InuYashaEsque only with more slapstick and fanservice. It may be funny for fans of the fantasy-history-slapstick-rumiko takahasi-style genre but I will concentrate only on some good shows this season that really hook me from the beginnig so I won’t keep watching/blogging this one!

If you judge anime shows by their first episode about 90% are crap. Eien no Aseria’s first is rather good and makes me willing to watch more of it. Nice animation and I’m pretty fond of soundtrack and character design. Also the story is a good mixture of classical fantasy elements and some new aspects.
You can recognize in some tiny details the show wants to be more than average, I’m thinking of the fight at the grave when you can hear fight sounds but you only see two umbrellas…gives a feeling like the good old Robin Hood movies with Erol Flynn where you could only see the shadows when Robin and the Sheriff were fighting ^^.

Like always the shows I’m looking forward to the most are those I like least. This first episode I did not even watch till the end, after Ichigo i don’t want to see any shows like this for a season; because in my eyes Suzuka is so standard:
A guy comes to a new town, because of a new school, he moves into the mansion of his aunt, where of course he is the only boy, the mansion’s got a bath, the girl he felt in love with sees him when he accidently slipped onto the breasts of another girl and then she even is his neighbour, but she hates him of course…blablabla!
No thank you!
