Eyeshield 21 – Episode 8

Oh, Sakuraba, my cutie!
But slowly….really slowly I start to get a crush on Hiruma…
OH MY, MY! Horror!

I’m bored…not of the show, actually it’s one of the most entertaining I watch but it’s not easy to blog about it. there’s lots of character developement but so obvious I don’t feel writing about it *sigh*

This show is done with so much love, it’s just a pleasure to watch. It feels like I know all those characters for ages. In only six episodes there’s a massive character developement, but still it’s not an all happy ending. Even though Sena learned a lot he’s not a pro after two fotball matches. I also like how for example Sakuraba is presented. Yeah, he’s damn good looking what makes him the most favourite player of his time. But just because the media hypes him that doesn’t mean he’s the best player in reality.

With this stupid, twisted humor I could laugh my ass off. I start to LOVE this show!!! Hopefully it’s gonna have at least 70 episodes. Hiruma is the devil in person but he grows on me. And that idol of the knights really is a cutie, isn’t he?

Of course Sena made the game and his team wins for the first time. But next time they will have the hardest opponents ever…and after that even harder opponents…and after that…
Well, just kidding. That may be the way the story goes but it’s a funride from the first to the last second. Sena is like a little puppy you wanna protect just like Mamori does and Hiruma kicks ass not to speak of that roley-poley cutie *lol*
Have you seen those cute plushies? I wanna have the devil! ^^

Imagine a scene like this:
Some pen and paper roleplayer type otakus where sitting on a rainy friday evening with to much crisps and cherry coke and had a dialoge like the following…
“We should really do our own anime, somthing as cool like Evangelion, with mechas and stuff like that you know…” – “Yeah, of course only youths can handle them…the hero has to be cool, perhaps a litlle strange…” – “And a pretty, bitchy girl. She will fall in love in him, but she doesn’t want to!” “But it has also to be a little stupid…eg when the trnasform or something…” – “The mechas have to melt like vandreads…” – “Yeah…and when they melt the have an orgasm…HAHAHA!” “YEAH! Like in cosprayers…HAHAHA!”
I think on an occasion like that the idea to Sousei no Aquarion was born. It’s coll, cooler than most other shows I’ve seen so far but also so damn cheesy like other bloggers prefer to say ^^
Still with all the cheesyness they didn’t loose focus on the fact there are people killed in the story, friends of the protagonists, people from the city they live in. I like the mixture!

I love the houmor of the show and…well, everything. The music in combination with animation and strange Evangelionesque story…people harvested for being source of life for flowers in magical girl series like sparkling shadow-worlds…
And that’s how white-haired, little, bitchy, vampire-girls see the world *rofl*:

I’m not sure why I skipped watching this show for so long, it’s brilliant. Cool characters, a Wagner-opera like Soundtrack and the animation is just cho-sugoi!! I love it!

Still I don’t know what to think of this show. At least I enjoyed this episode much more than the first. It’s unbelievable impressing what they did out of the characters when you think of the original “Futakoi”. All in all the whole way this show is done, even I’ve only seen two episodes I have the heart to affirm “futakoi Alternative” is a masterpiece. It’s an experiment, a funride…but it’s too hectic for me. And even if it a masterpiece, I don’t have to like it, do I?

Oh guys, sorry to keep you waiting for so long…I was very busy that week, that’s the reason why I have such a big backlog.
The only show I forced myself to watch is Ueki, but I slept after half an episode (not because it was so boring *giggle*), so I can’t tell much about it. Again it was a lot of fighting…but somehow with more heart as in episode 2…that’s what makes this series so likeable.
