I almost forgot how adorable it is to marathon several episodes in a row. One is so into story and characters…
This episode was again awesome. We have the death rate of Rozen Maiden ~träumend~, a totaly useless Aruto, werid dreams and worlds and of course Riddle…damn awesome Riddle! Go kick their asses!
Although I planned not to write about nonsense like animation quality anymore I have to mention for the finale Kagihime episodes. I was astonished how much better is was this time and made me enjoy watching it even more. Also the story is getting more weird, creepy, fantastic, cool. It’s pretty cool the final arc goes over four episodes and not only three or two. What’s revealed about Arisu suprised me, I thought her wish would be the recovery of her memories…
And the incest thing isn’t over yet!

It’s getting more dark and I really, REALLY like that. I have some problems with the logic here and there, but if you don’t think about it to much and enjoy the series as what it is, it’s great. Kirika-senpai’s story was creepy and the way she lost it rather cruel. I wonder who will be the villain in the end, Takion or one of the Alice users. I ask myself for some time now, wether there is a way to complete the book without taking the stories of all girls, and with all is meant even that of the last user who defeated the others.
Or perhaps Arisu can’t be defeated because of her amnesia…
Isn’t this disgusting…and yes, we are talking about incest here. Damn. I would have never thought it goes that far we are not only talking about a brother compley but about real desires. The show is after one weak episode back to be one of my all time favourites, besides it’s all cheesy and so ^^
This must have been the worst episode so far. Soaked with emotions – I wonder why Kihara gives up so fast – and disturbed by the obligatory fight to break up the drama.
In a whole it felt incoherent and not fitting the rest of the show. Again and again I hove to wonder about the atomic breast size of Kisa-chan; there are a lot of big boobs girls in animes but she’s especially anatomical strange…
and did you recognize how fat all of the characters should be measured by the amount of cookies, icecream and cake they eat? ( is sound like one of those bitchy girls on diet who forbid themself to eat cakes and stufff…hm, cake…I guess I have to leave now…)
I still love it, although Takion is so obvious evil and I can’t remember Alice kissing someone…and wasn’t the story with the cookies about growing bigger and smaller?
Interesting though and utenaesque again Alice takes the role of the prince while Aruto is trapped and has to be rescued!
Man, I loved that episode, I think the drama was really great! Lots of Takion screenshots, but he resembles Akio, so I had to!
Enough for the Utena debate besides it was again a Mikage episode; a girl trapped by the pains of love and disappointment…
NExt episode is called “The pig”. I was wondering where that comes from, but in another blog (noone seems to like the show *crying*) I read a good explenation…I should have known it myself. I’ve read “Alice in Wonderland” (and did not like it, but I mentioned that before). The twelve chapters are called:

I wonder what the 13th epsiode will be called and why so many people seem to like the story about Alice. For me it was more or less scary. Not funny!
Also I came across a very good page with information to all Alice movie adaptions, because I already wanted to write the evil twins and also Arisu in the opening wear clothes that are near to that of Alice in the Disney movie, but now I saw all Alice adaptions look very similar, due to the original illustrations in the book I guess.
I guess it only results from my big BIG wish for some utenaesque shows that I can interpret all those similarities into Kagihime Monogatari. Well, it’s not really, really like SKU, but somehow the town and the school…it could bemany, many years after the events of SKU at Ohtori Academy. Takion (we’ll se more about him next time) takes the place of Akio, the twins that of the shadow girls/the greek choir. When I watched SKU for the first time I never could get, what the shadow girls were talking about, but while rewatching I recognized how much sense it makes, when you already know what’s going to happen. The same may go here for the evil twins.
Even the school uniform of Kagarigi-senpai is almost that of Ohtori Academy, at least in most parts! *sigh* Give me more Utena!!!
It’s nice to see at least some, even if it’s only two or three people also seem to enjoy this show. This time I was speechless over the appearance of Kagarigi-senpai. I really had to stop and watch it twice. This was exactly like Mikage’s entry to the Utena series (yes, i will be comparing even more from now on). Not only she’s a genious and has got a research lab but even the music. I tried to record it for you so you can compare yourself, but it didn’t work *drop*
It is still okay for me, but I’m in a little state of shock!
I am the one for Mahou Shoujo shows, perhaps I should specialize on them. Kagihime is for me nothing else than a cute, kawaii, supersutekawaii funride. I like the story (yeah, that little bit of magical girl story) and all the characters, even if all the girls have breasts like Dolly Buster.
This time I recognized you can see all the enemies in the ending. There are wuite some for only 13 episodes, but all of them look so cool. The outfit designs are adorable. I was wondering wether I should cosplay one of them at the Animagic.
