I guess what makes Black Cat so brilliant and keeps me entertained is the mixture of comedy and seriousness. Sven and Train exchange roles from episode to episode, none of them is only the clown…well, perhaps Sven is *just kidding*…nor the cool hero.
Train is like…instant noodles?
This was more or less some light fun episode, but the dark tone never vanishes completley. It’s sztange. i started to watch this show because of Train alone, but now I watch it for the story, as he changed so much; all I loved about him is gone. I’d say it’s easier to find series you watch because of a cute guy in it. It stands for the quality of Black Cat I’m watching it now for development and the other characters.
Actually it’s the weired art of style, colours and angles that makes it so special. Not to speak of the dramatic developement. We are only at episode 12 and almost can’t stand it anymore. How are the last eps going to be? Even more tragic and enthralling?
And there’s always time for some humour…I looooooveee yoouuuuuu! *falling down*
This series is just perfect, from the beginning to the end; from characters over animation to music. Go and watch it yourself!

Wow, I don’t know what made me do such a long break in watching the show, this episode was the best so far concerning drama qualities, perhaps besides Saya’s death. We are introduced to a whole bunch of very cool characters and also Creed shows his new self (I love it). He’s no longer the little psycho boy that runs after Train but a serious enemy.
Sven showed evidence for his blooming friendship with the cat and I guess Train got a lesson. Perhaps he stops to throw away his life easily now.
Actually I started knitting while watching it and I did not get a glimpse of it, always starring on my wool. No good basis for a review…
Oh my God, Train accompanies Sven only for some weeks and already eats like him, is drawn in the same ugly style, the atmosphere is gone…his coat is gone!!! *crying*
At least Eve smiled for the first time, I guess, she developes in a good way, NOT LIKE TRAIN!

I really can’t imagine they will find 52 episodetitles with the word “cat” in it!
To say it in short way: Train – awesome, paring up with Sven and Eve???? Cute neko plushy, cute bell…and I SWEAR Saya is not dead!
Nani? What? WAS? I did not expect that to happen…I mean, she’s in the opening, in the ending, she’s the woman he loves – I guess – and she’s so damn important for the story and character developement concerning Train.
If you know she’s coming back or something please don’t spoiler me. I wanna enjoy this series to its emotional depths especially because I don’t know the manga or the story yet. At the beginning I was very sceptic about the show but know it finds its way deeper and deeper into my anime heart, basically for the more and more interesting characters that pop up.
On the first line of course Train, followed by awesome psycho Creed and now No. 1! Man, she’s cool, perhaps she remind’s me of SKU’s Juri too much. Also the chinese guy with the bugs (I hate insects) looks interesting.
Sorry, i did not mention Sven and his two woman so far. I still feel like Sven comes from another show and is totally wrong in “Black Cat”. Perhaps he got the wrong studio?
