Tide-Line Blue - Episode 12 [Fin]

Blue

*snigh* It's over, what a nice ending! Guurd is not the bad man he wanted all to think and in a very queer way he helped to start creating a new world together with Aoi. The twin brothers are reunited in happieness and Isura has hope and an ostrich with the name "eyebrow" *lol* What do we want more?

Still I'm looking forward to the 13th OVA episode that's supposed to be released on DVD. The ending always showed scenes of two or three episodes...then it changed. This time we saw some pictures that let me expect there will be a proper ending: We'll get to know how the futures of Isura, Teen and Kiiru will look like and maybe Guurd will die.

But even without knowing what's still to come I can say this was one of the most enjoyable shows I watched recently. The story was not superb, but I liked animation and characters and it was fun to follow them, finding their own ways!

Tide-Line Blue - Episode 11

Battle of Metasequoia

It's an interesting turn the kids are on Guurd's side all the time and stay there but see his actions my be wrong.
But isn't Kiiru exaggerating he could end the war. The show is the type for a happy end, but that'd be too easy!

Tide-Line Blue - Episode 10

Seperation

It's the newest trend to air only a part of the TV series and release the last episode(s) on DVD only. Same goes for Tide-Line Blue, I'll be patient to see episode 13. But the question is wether that's going to be an additional episode or really the last important one.
However another enjoyable episode. Teen is growing more and more on me, what a cutie ^^!

Tide-Line Blue - Episode 9

Reunion

I misinterpreted Teen's character: He's not the cool one but very sensitive! Joze did a great job in trusting Kiiru's luck, but why actually did she?
Kiiru'S sitting on tables nearly every episode *lol* And Guurd is very cute when he smiles...besides the blind eye and the scar perhaps.

And two questions I wanted to ask for a long time:

1. Who's the father of Isura's child?
2. Will the ostrich ever get back to her? ^^

Tide-Line Blue - Episode 8

New Map

Kiiru: He is naive!

Joze: Her hair stays the same in wind or water - she should do some hairstyler advertisement!

Aoi: Should I really feel sorry for her? Somehow she's an old bitch *gomen*

Teen: Where did all the coolness go?

And could it be Charlie Sheen was real model for Guurd's enemy-captain (see caps)?

Tide-Line Blue - Episode 7

The City of Prayers

Waaah, what a cliffhanger, but what a lovley episode!
Joze is a cute girl, but she's not very good in her job. I see more and more parallels with Sophia. All female vice-commanders seem to be totally lost without their captain/the man they love.
Kiiru my be stupid, but he's a good guy with a good heart!

Tide-Line Blue - Episode 6

K2

I have to correct myself, this show is like a mixture "Starship Operators" and "Last Exile" (I'm very influenced by that at the moment). Grand Stream...Dohla Vira...? Sophia...Joze...
Joze is one of my favourite characters by now, can't exactly tell why. An interesting woman.

Can someone tell me how all those captains alaways know each other exactly? Is there are yearly captain-meeting...or a find-your-personal-archenemy-meeting?

Tide-Line Blue - Episode 5

Attack

Tide-Line Blue is like "Starship Operators" only in the water, not in space. I did not like that super-duper happy way of portraying war or military acts to end war. That may work, but...gives me no good feeling of presenting things that way. Cruelty causes cruelty!

Tide-Line Blue - Episode 4

Roles

I appreciate the quality of the story and character developement. There's much Kiiru has to learn and Guurd's ship should be the best place for him to grow up to an adult!

Teen's second name is Guurd, so it should be Kiiru's also...is there a connection and why have those twins been living on a space station. Was the old man with the beard in the spacesuit their father or could even the captain be?

Tide-Line Blue - Episode 3

Dhola Vira

Let's urinate on that poor little boy *rofl*

Tide-Line Blue - Episode 2

Traitor

I recognize I really like a show when I can't wait to see the next episode. I don't know exactly why but it's the case with Tide-Line Blue. Nice characters, very good animation and very good pace; althought I think the slapstick is a bit out of place in some scenes. On the other hand without it the show would be to serious. On my watch list now, can't await to see more (I'm downloading episode 3 at the moment ^^)!

Tide-Line Blue - Episode 1

Surfacing Spirits

As far as I know Tide-Line Blue ist by the same guy who did Blue Submarine No.6. That anime was so boring (all my friends agreed) I did not watch it completley.
Tide-Line Blue is far better by now. Although Kiira is not my favourite type of hero and my heart went to Teen within in a second XD Bandai provides us with a solid first episode. Animation is very good, as expected after Blue Submarine No. 6. The opening song was okay, good but nothing special in particular. After some minutes of character introduction action hits the viewers and the story begins.

What I like most is the character constellation...so I will defenitley give episode two a look!
