Eyeshield 21 - Episode 8

Do not give up!

Oh, Sakuraba, my cutie!
But slowly....really slowly I start to get a crush on Hiruma...

OH MY, MY! Horror!

Eyeshield 21 - Episode 7

Fight for Victory

I'm bored...not of the show, actually it's one of the most entertaining I watch but it's not easy to blog about it. there's lots of character developement but so obvious I don't feel writing about it *sigh*

Eyeshield 21 - Episode 6

Detonation! Spear Tackle

This show is done with so much love, it's just a pleasure to watch. It feels like I know all those characters for ages. In only six episodes there's a massive character developement, but still it's not an all happy ending. Even though Sena learned a lot he's not a pro after two fotball matches. I also like how for example Sakuraba is presented. Yeah, he's damn good looking what makes him the most favourite player of his time. But just because the media hypes him that doesn't mean he's the best player in reality.

Eyeshield 21 - Episode 5

Body Guard for 0.5 Seconds

With this stupid, twisted humor I could laugh my ass off. I start to LOVE this show!!! Hopefully it's gonna have at least 70 episodes. Hiruma is the devil in person but he grows on me. And that idol of the knights really is a cutie, isn't he?

Eyeshield 21 - Episode 4

What's Grasped by Those Hands

Of course Sena made the game and his team wins for the first time. But next time they will have the hardest opponents ever...and after that even harder opponents...and after that...
Well, just kidding. That may be the way the story goes but it's a funride from the first to the last second. Sena is like a little puppy you wanna protect just like Mamori does and Hiruma kicks ass not to speak of that roley-poley cutie *lol*

Have you seen those cute plushies? I wanna have the devil! ^^

Aquarion - Episode 5

King of the Underground Labyrinth

Imagine a scene like this:

Some pen and paper roleplayer type otakus where sitting on a rainy friday evening with to much crisps and cherry coke and had a dialoge like the following...

"We should really do our own anime, somthing as cool like Evangelion, with mechas and stuff like that you know..." - "Yeah, of course only youths can handle them...the hero has to be cool, perhaps a litlle strange..." - "And a pretty, bitchy girl. She will fall in love in him, but she doesn't want to!" "But it has also to be a little stupid...eg when the trnasform or something..." - "The mechas have to melt like vandreads..." - "Yeah...and when they melt the have an orgasm...HAHAHA!" "YEAH! Like in cosprayers...HAHAHA!"

I think on an occasion like that the idea to Sousei no Aquarion was born. It's coll, cooler than most other shows I've seen so far but also so damn cheesy like other bloggers prefer to say ^^
Still with all the cheesyness they didn't loose focus on the fact there are people killed in the story, friends of the protagonists, people from the city they live in. I like the mixture!

Aquarion - Episode 4

Barefoot Soldiers

I love the houmor of the show and...well, everything. The music in combination with animation and strange Evangelionesque story...people harvested for being source of life for flowers in magical girl series like sparkling shadow-worlds...

And that's how white-haired, little, bitchy, vampire-girls see the world *rofl*:

Aquarion - Episode 3

Element School

I'm not sure why I skipped watching this show for so long, it's brilliant. Cool characters, a Wagner-opera like Soundtrack and the animation is just cho-sugoi!! I love it!

Futakoi Alternative - Episode 2

Still I don't know what to think of this show. At least I enjoyed this episode much more than the first. It's unbelievable impressing what they did out of the characters when you think of the original "Futakoi". All in all the whole way this show is done, even I've only seen two episodes I have the heart to affirm "futakoi Alternative" is a masterpiece. It's an experiment, a funride...but it's too hectic for me. And even if it a masterpiece, I don't have to like it, do I?

The Law of Ueki - Episode 3

Oh guys, sorry to keep you waiting for so long...I was very busy that week, that's the reason why I have such a big backlog.

The only show I forced myself to watch is Ueki, but I slept after half an episode (not because it was so boring *giggle*), so I can't tell much about it. Again it was a lot of fighting...but somehow with more heart as in episode 2...that's what makes this series so likeable.

Eyeshield 21 - Episode 3

Subdue the Field

To be honest the story of the show is so predictable. Still it's very much fun to watch. All characters are pretty cool and the animation good enough it's enjoyable.
It's nice to see Reika is also blogging "Eyeshield21", especially because she knows the mangas and is Hiruma fan, while I still think he's the devil in human form *lol*

Eyeshield 21 - Episode 2

Let's play American Football!

My God...this was suprisigly entertaining, much more than episode one. i...I don't know how to say it...I...I like it. I have to watch it.
Yaaa-Haaaaaa!

Aquarion - Episode 2

The Beast of Darkness

I really don't understand why everybody is bitchin' around. I like Sousei no Aquarion...I like it!
Well, perhaps I was a bit too impressed by the artwork last time so I didn't recognize the funny aspects of the show... *cough*
Like that guy who can spit out fire from his feet, or the orgasmus union, or that women playing on her wings like it's a harp, or the incest relationship of pseudo Touga and Nanami or...

Tsubasa Chronicle - Episode 2

The Power to Fight

Weeee, what an amazing enjoyable show..."Sliders" by CLAMP as anime adaption. With the sound of Kajiura...she's a genious!
This time there were some mere variations to the story of the manga, but nothing to be mad about. Yuko is even more a bitch in animated form and Kurogane more amusing. I'm totally pleased with all about it.
Espeacially the ending song "loop"...adorable!

MÄR - Episode 1

Another not on my watch list anime and as expected not entertaining for me. Not my story, character design, gerne, soundtrack...
At least the animation was better then expected but the computer effects so obtrusive it's annoying.
A show for shonen fans or those of the manga...but not for me.

Eyeshield 21 - Episode 1

The man possessing speed of light legs

"Eyeshield 21" was on my not to watch list, but I was too curious when I saw it was subbed by a German group even before it was released with English subtitels. By the way it was weired to watch it in German...

This show gives us the typical loser is bullied by big freakes, is talented in some way and gets the star in the end, including the nice chick I think, story. That's it! But i was more entertained then I thought before watching mostley due to that big, round, fluffy guy who is so cute *lol*

Besides I'm not to fond of character design or animation. It's, well, irritating to se the two protagonists move and talk, while all people in the background are fixed-image for some minutes.
At least I'm also going to watch the next episode...damn, I'm in a mood to blogg each and every show this season, including "Erementar Gerard".

The Law of Ueki - Episode 2

I have to watch it, just for the opening song. Gives such a Yu-Gi-Oh! duelist feeling *lol*

Actually this show should get boring with fighting and fighting and...even more fighting. But surprisingly it's entertaining, I enjoy that stupid type of humor (Ueki rolling over the floor because his bag is burning, God aka kami-chan).

I'm not sure wether I ever followed a shonen show before, so it's time do it with "The law of Ueki". On my watch list *note to myself*

Erementar Gerard - Episode 2

Wow, this episode was subbed unbelievable fast. After seeing episode two I think "Erementar Gerard" is a typical shonen show, a good one by the way. Ren is very cute, the soundtrack still very good, but I felt like the animation went down to a certain degree (those undetailed backgrounds were no pleasure for the eye) and the CLAMPish trio goes on my nerves. I could live without them, hontou.

If I knew this show is only going to have 13 episodes or what...but there could also be 153...or so...
In other words, there will be enough other bloggers writing about "Erementar Gerard", so I'm going to drop it.

Futakoi Alternative - Episode 1

With ending up linking the first Futakoi series I was sure I would like this one as well. Chracters I already know, cute character designs...cuteness in any way. Well there was no cuteness at all, but a hectic hullabaloo of fights, bullets, races and croquettes. Where are Nozomu-kun and Keisuke...and the Ichijou sisters?
I will give it a second try, but all in all it felt ways too spastic!

Aquarion - Episode 1

Memories of an Angel

I recognize I write about "good animation" almost every time I present a new show...that's because everything that's better as "Sukisyo" is good animation in my eyes. But do not think I don't distinguish between the shows. Of yourse there are worse and better ones. "Sousei no Aquarion" goes into the best category.

I know after "Jinki:Extend" I should be more careful with Evangelion-esque shows, but "Sousei no Aquarion" just looks and feels too good. Of course it's a standard plot, but as long as they provide with me outstanding animation and a good soundtrack I am satisfied.

Erementar Gerard - Episode 1

This was a solid basis for a funny, nice animated shonen show with cool characters and a very good soundtrack...but I was just not hooked. I will give it another try with the second episode and decide afterwards wether I will blogg or not, but I don't think so.

"The Law of Ueki" should be enough shonen for one season ^^

Tsubasa Chronicle - Episode 1

The Inevitable Encounter

Not all anime bloggers seem to be happy with a new CLAMP series...I am. The first mangas I ever bought were CLAMP, the mangaka(s) I own most series of are CLAMP *suprise* To be honest "Tsubasa Resrevoir Chronicle" was the first ones I did not like as much as the others, but of course I have to watch the anime.

The first episode followed straight the story of the manga and I'm pleased with Bee Train's animation, the wonderful madlax-like soundtrack and the character design. My beloved Touya as king ^^ and Fye as one of the cutest CLAMP men ever. Perhaps if the story goes further I will be disappojnted again with too much fighting, that was the case with the mangas, but this beginnig of the show was pleasing and I'm looking forward for more.

I need to watch another episode before I can say anything about it.

Bokusato Tenshi Dokuro-chan - Episodes 1 + 2

WTF!!!???!!! Blood, brains, butts, breasts, a monkey, a pedophile protagonist and a cute killer angel? No thank you. I'll be sure to skip this!

The Law of Ueki - Episode 1

To be honest if I did not know the mangas I would drop this show immediatly because it's not my genre or style. The character design isn't very appealing but it fits the drawing style of the mangas perfectly. The story seems baka baka but from my point as a manga reader who knows much more I have to say they did a good job introducing the protagonists and explainig the main features of the story. If they keep the line of the comics it's worth watching.

By the way I'm not too happy with the subtitles. They seem out of time and not always correct O.o?
