Blue and Red

Sorry to say this, but this show was a complete failure after episode 1.
The story was messy, stupid...BAKA! It was so hard to follow most of the time, the characters were one-dimensional and not introduced properly, many useless and unimportant. Aoka as second protagonist was as likeable as a brick and aoba, the only really cool character vanished for some episodes.
It was all to Evangelion-esque, but copied very bad. The ending was just as stupid as the rest.

This is really a"don't watch it"-show. The animation and soundtrack were good from time to time, but that's it. Rixot remebered me there were that strange animal-mask pendant to SEELE guys onece...well, once. Who were they? Important?
Why was Aoba's mother alive and is now the loving person we all expect her to be?

Arg, baka....BAKA! Thank God it's over!

And all this for the sake of some little freaks love...but I admit it's really scary to see Kanana (or whatever her name was) kissing Genta who looks like Magnum!

At least Aoba is back! And it was no coincidence half of the staff look like her!

Red and Black

I'm in a very bad mood today so to even make it worse I decided to watch a new Jinki episode...weeeeeeell. Where should I start? Akao is so boring I did not even remember she was being kidnapped.

And than what's the deal with her? Was she
1. put into a an acid bath that only destroys half of your clothes
or
2. is she waering water soluble clothes???

May I remark Aoba *cough* the protagonist of the show *cough* is missing the whole episode again!!!??? Not to speak of the animation...

And where did the producers get the ides of...teenagers piloting mechas, soul transfer, clones... *COUGH* Evangelion *COUGH* But it's my vice I'm always comparing everything...

The Game's Winner

Yesterday I was in a very bad mood concerning animes (besides Uta~Kata of course ^^), today I saw Jinki:Extend more positive. The LSD-Trip continued, but I liked the animation this time and Akao is still boring like hell. But finally Aoba is back, with about one minute airing time. That was enough to look forward to the next episode and putting all in a correct order. Hurray for a straight timeline!

The Silver-winged Visitor

The focus of the show switched completely to akao...but akao is so damn boring. I'm not interested in her story arc.
At least I did realize the whole plot around her is no flashback, but AFTER everything happening to Aoba. But what exactly happend to her, I don't know. Five episodes to go...gladly only five, I can't stand this any longer.
Besides the animation changed..very colourfull, feels more like a LSD-trip now!

Fulfilled Ambition

Did I ever mention I...DON'T really get it!!!??? Flashbacks...and flashbacks...and even flashbacks in flashbacks. What did the producers of the show think? That anyone likes this? Okay, it makes it interesting...for one eipsode, afterwards it's just annoying. And as I told you, I don't get it.

The Black Operator

I was afraid it would be so much Evangelion she would kill him, I was afraid it would be so much Sailor Moon she would talk him to death...but in the end, it was so predictable. Jinki is a bunch of all and special at all. i can't decide wther it's stupid or brilliant.
Same with the Soundtrack. partly outstanding, Ending totally crap *sigh*
Where is this going to end???

Foes and Friends

What's the problem of Aoba's mother? Any childhood traumata about butterflys? Then there we go with a Aoba, that thinks of a human operator sitting in the enemy's Jinki...but what about the ancient Jinkis; did she ever ask if they are piloted or if they live?
And we have a fight Obi-Wan Kenobi vs. Dath Vader...

Yeah, a girl with NO stamina like me...yeah, but she gets enough within one weak >_<
I don't understand a word about those bunch of girl that want to fight...a Jinki in Japan?
Rui gets on my nerves, she's too tough for an eleven year old...and Aoba's Mom has to be a sister to Ikari Gendo (Neon Genesis Evangelion).

The Battlefield the Girl Saw

Und dann habe ich heute noch die erste Folge von "Jinki:Extend" gekuckt...dachte der animanfo Beschreibung nach erst die Serie wäre Mist, doch die erste Folge hielt mich dermaßen atemlos an den fernseher gebannt, dass ich ganz hin und weg bin. Supergeile Animationsqualität, angenehm düstere Stimmung und die richtige Portion Humor. Schaut mal rein, vielleicht gefällt es ja dem einen oder anderem auch...!??
