Christmas Coloured Decision

Both Elis and Hiroki find their individual luck. I can just agree to her decision to study in France. It's an unbelievable opportunity, she won't get again! What is not clear to me is the strange atmosphere, like something horrible is going to happen. But Canvas 2 just seems to be the type of show that ends quitely and the way you expect it!

On An Indigo Dawn

What a beautiful episode. Even the animation felt special this time, not to speak of Elis' character developement and actually, indeed the effective use of color red in some shots (e.g. the sunlit Christmas tree after Elis' talk with Tomoko-chan) after Housen came to mind what is imoprtant in life.
It suprises me how much I'm involved with this show in the end. It was a slow pace series all the time, still intruiging and there was no episode so far I did not enjoy in one or another way.

Crystal Blank Map

It's strange I feel like I'm only blogging Canvas 2 and Shakugan no Shana at the moment. IS time really going by that fast?
However I'm not satisfied with the cut they made from Kiri's confession to her and Hiroki being in a bar together. Did they finaly kiss, are they together? Why is it such a problem. Having a girlfriend means not such a problem for the situation with Elis, it's not she has to move out immediatley.
I unnderstand it's not easy to leave her alone at Christmas, but she's got a whole bunch of cute friends and wasn't there that guy, who confessed to her on the school trip?

Marmalade Coloured Evening

In opposite to what was announced there are only going to be 24 episodes. That means we are really coming to the final round between Kiri and Elis-chan, though that's actually not true. The latter matured so much, as long as Hiroki is happy, I guess she can stand it to lose. Even Kiri, who seems to me sometimes more childish than Elisa these days takes a big step, thnaks to the fact she remet Yanagi.
But there you have to admit hiroki still is the greates IDIOT running around in recent shows. Why does Kiri has to confess to him. Isn't it obvious she loves him, he was even told on the phone she is!!!!

Compared to Shakugan no Shana's final episodes, that are to calm for an action show, I'm very pleased with the nice atmosphere of Canvas 2. I'm really going to mis sthe series, when it's over!

Shoot At Tomato Red!

Elis problem with the colour red is one of the big themes of Canvas 2, it was time it comes up again. I'm glad they are treating her psychosis rather serious and did not make her suddenly buy ketchup without any problems. Again I had the thought the whole show consits of all colours but red. When you look at the screenshots there's always the pretty and for Canvas 2 so typical combination of turquoise, dark blue and yellow. I really connect the feeling of Canvas to the atmosphere these colours create.

Funny, Hiroki failed his exams. is this just a gag or a clever way to leave the possinility open for him to become an artist in the end. I almost forgot Elis got the chance to study abroad. I wonder if she's going or stays for such a boring idiot like Hiroki *sigh*

This was another enjoyable feel good happy episode. Actually when I think about it Hiroki can draw now, he kissed Kiri and somehow Elis' love for him isn't a topic anymore. Where is this show heading to?

Sepia Triangle

It's unbelievable Hiroki was already a dumbass, when he was younger. I can't put into words how much I dislike him as a protagonist. He's boring and reacts to Elis and to women in general ins uch ways I could hit him into his baka face.

Snow White Recollections

The title is perfect for the episode if you think of white being the colour for death in Japan. I feel sorry for Elis. Of course there's no chance for her to end up with Hiroki but he should get kicked for his answer to her confession! BAKA!!!

When I look at the screenshots now I realize they don't use to much red in the complete show. I wonder if it's purpose concerning Elis' problem with it. The story gets really to an important and interesting point now. It's clear Kiri and Hiroki like each other and Elis confessed at last and found out about her own feelings!

i AM a girl, that means I AM romantic, but that kiss-notkiss-whateverkiss looked so stupid. Like two people suffering from shortage of breath fall into each others arms...man!
There's not much more to say about this episode. I like it when the story continues over several eps. And Elis should really concern taking the pottery guy. He's really cute! Whatever he likes about her...

No, this time I won't say it *cough obligatoryswimsuitepisode cough* ! Instead I will talk about something totally stupid...Housen-san's name is pronounced the same way as the German word "Hosen" which means "trousers" *giggle* So, Ms Trousers. What are you crying about? With your childish behaviour towards your "onii-chan" you never actually had a chance. Card Captor Kiri will win the race...why don't you take pottery-boy instead?

It is no coincidence Hiroki wears a straw hat and yells "ONE PIECE" several times, isn't it?

Hmph, I'm not in a mood to do screenshots now, so at least the eyecathcers, I love those btw.
again a pretty, heartwarming drama episode...but I'm getting doubt Canvas2 can keep up what it promises now. That would be to good.
Concerning the last picture of the ending now all important girls are introduced. I wonder if Elis is the only one that keeps having problems and those of the last two girls are really solved by that little efforts of Elis and the main guy (sorry, I still don't know his name *lol*) in the recent episodes. Would be too easy, hm? There's no one coming to me solving my problems in a minute *arg*

Cobalt Blue Impatience

Damn, "Ave Maria" always makes me cry, no matter in which context I hear it. So personally for me this was a very touching episode, the best so far. Elis really shows she can be more than an annoying brat. I was suprised she talked about her problems with the colour red.

Mischievous Canary Yellow

What actually happens when we're through with the seven colours of the rainbow. Isn't this show supposed to run for two seasons?
Althoiugh we're only at episode three it feels like I know all the characters for ages. A complete fun episode! Cute show...still not teh depth and humour of Shuffle! but it was a good decision to watch it ^^...I hope *lol*

Mandarin Orange Meeting

The atmosphere around the show is strange, there's no likeable character in particular and the dramatic piano music, when Card Captor Kiri ran away was a bit out of place...but still I'm enjoying to watch Canvas2, very much indeed. Childish Elis, sporty Kiri and boring main character, I even can't remember his name.

Why did he stop drawing and is this actually the kind of show in which he has to decide? So far he didn't do anything into that direction, it's more like he can't stand any of the two girls at all. (That's a bit harsh, but in basic it's true)

My favourite scene was that with Elis and Kiri on the bridge. They know they are opponents, but it's still typically female they can understand each other because they know how it is to love the same man.

However Canvas2 -> to my watch list please!

Forbidden Classic Red

You see, this time I didn't expect too much as the ratings for Canvas and Canary are more than worse at animenfo. To my suprise the animation wuality was to my likings, as well as OP and ED songs and the atmosphere of the show as a whole. Besides Air I didn't watch any real drama show so far and I love school animes, so if the mixture stays the same this might be my show.

Again there's a little chbiusa brat but she could have an interesting function in giving hints and summaries.
If I had to choose between To Heart 2 and Canvas 2 at the moment I would keep watching the latter!
