Disgea, RAY - The Animation, Simoun
To be honest I already di not like the game and also this show is just not for me, wrong humour, wrong style.
This looked actually quite interesting, or at least the basic idea of Ray's ability, but right after the first half of this episode I was so annoyed by the stupid storyline that I did not even finish it.
Simoun is an experiment: Lots of yuri, sketch-like backgrounds with overload CG animation for the ships, classical/french-chanson like music...I hated it. Sorry, it just does not work for me.

I liked the way you reviewed Simoun: saying it just doesn't work for you. It works very, very well for me. For me, it is up with Nana, Saiunkoku, Suzumiya Haruhi, and Good Witch of the West (good review!) in the first rank of shows. I can feel real emotions in the characters. But I can well understand how it might not work for others.

I think if I say "it doesn't work for me" it's the best expression. To say it's just crap would be stupid, it may be the favourite for someone else. I know I like many shows (almost) no one else likes *looking at Kagihime Alice lol*
