Did you ever wonder what happens if you mix up Final Destination and Ichigo Mashimaro? There you go with Shinigami no Ballad!
It's a calm show with normal/cute characters, a decent animation (there were some nice rain shots) that creates no emotions. That's why I'm not going to watch the rest.

I thought it's Hell Girl without the hell. I found nice but not outstanding. The only thing that annoyed me was the talking flying cat. By the way, the other cat looked horribly non-cute but I cannot remember any cute anime cats. I guess that's why they prefer girls with cat ears.

I agree definetly not one to watch on a regular basis, maybe get it for the ocasional long car trip :P . And chris i agree the non-floating cat was ugly, it just had one of the sickest faces of a neko i have ever seen x.x ....
