The Ladies of Summer
It's really no wonder that this episode is rated 15+. It contained more (non-)pantie shots and ecchi scenes like all the recent Okusama wa joshikosei eps ^^
This was a complete filler thing: Funny, enjoyable, side characters. I'm not to interested in Mayumi and the sensei but that are the pleasures of a 24 episodes-show. The story does not hav to be compensated in 12 eps and there's time for something like this.
What were all that scenes with Shia's father eating melons and ice about?

This episode has us viewing the same day from Nadeshiko-sensei's and Mayumi's viewpoint. Shia's father's scenes is kinda like a marker for the time passed.

There are people in real with different eye colours, I know a girl...but perhaps there's more meaning to it in Shuffle!.

semi-spoilerish, but Mayumi is actually a human-demon mix(or god, i forgot). She has heterochromia (med. term for 2ble color eyes) thanks to that. Lately, this feature is enjoying a revival thanks to Asuna from Negima(which points to a lot of conspiracy theories, since heterochromia = special ability/causes) ;).
